Eh, personally I think you can get better results by mixing cardio and actual muscle training. I'd suggest checking out http://www.exrx.net/Lists/Directory.html , making your own routine (its not too hard, kinda fun I guess) and just make sure to eat lots of protein and drink water!

That's a good diet plan; but do you need to even lose weight? You are probably just over reacting! But if not, that will work, just don't eat any junk food, and try to eat an apple a day.
